Therapy for teens and adults in Seattle, WA.
Therapeutic Approach
I believe we can all find meaning and joy despite the obstacles life presents. My hope is to build a genuine connection with you so we can work toward the life you want. Together we will develop a treatment plan that integrates your inner wisdom with my expertise in evidence based treatments. I practice Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a form of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) that incorporates mindfulness, acceptance, values, and behavior change — all in the service of a more fulfilled life. When working with OCD I use the most effective type of treatment for this condition — a form of CBT called Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
Education and Training
I received my BA with honors from Washington University in St. Louis and my PhD in clinical psychology from Loyola University Chicago. I completed a predoctoral internship at Seattle Children’s Hospital and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Washington focused on school-based mental health, implementation science, and cultural adaptation of interventions.
I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Washington (PY61037754) and a member of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science, the Society for Implementation Research Collaboration, and the Washington State Psychological Association.
